ULI Nevada presents its annual real estate trends and forecast meeting featuring insights from leading experts both nationally and locally. The event will feature a presentation on the Emerging Trends in Real Estate 2019 report—a publication from PwC and ULI—as well as a session on the outlook for Nevada and the Las Vegas area real estate.

Emerging Trends in Real Estate 2019
Emerging Trends in Real Estate is a trends and forecast publication with a 38-year history and is the most highly-regarded and widely-read forecast report in the real estate industry. Emerging Trends in Real Estate 2019, undertaken jointly by PwC and ULI, provides an outlook on U.S. investment and development trends, real estate finance and capital markets, property sectors, metropolitan areas, and other real estate issues. The report draws on formal and informal surveys of real estate executives, investors, developers, and market experts around the U.S., including survey responses from over 1,500 real estate executives and personal interviews with over 350 industry leaders. Survey results relating to our local market will be included in the presentation.

Learn about new Tax Incentives for Real Estate and Business Investments in Qualified Opportunity Zones.
The Tax Reform Act created a new program to encourage capital investment in over 8,700 Opportunity Zones throughout the United States. The program has the potential to provide investors in Opportunity Zones with the potential deferral of capital gains taxes until December 31, 2026 along with the possible elimination of tax on the appreciation recognized on the investment in an Opportunity Fund.
