This upcoming virtual event, “Americas YLG: Emerging Leaders Product Council Program Open House - Unlock Your Pathway to Product Councils” on Tuesday, October 10 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. ET allows YLG registrants to learn more about the unique leadership opportunity and how to make their application stand out. Attendees will walk away with the understanding of a what a Product Council is, the value of the Emerging Leaders Product Council Program, how the application works, hear from past participants on how the experience has benefited their professional and personal development, as well as from staff about how applications will be reviewed.

About the Program:
The Emerging Leaders Product Council program empowers ULI's young,
talented members with a valuable and enriching experience. By application, this
program offers the following exceptional opportunity:
Exclusive Access to Product Council Events: Selected Emerging
Leaders will have the privilege of attending as a guest to a Product Council
reception/dinner and Product Council Day at the prestigious 2024 ULI Spring
Meeting in the vibrant city of New York.
Eligibility Criteria: To qualify for this exceptional opportunity, Emerging Leaders must meet the following criteria:
- Professional Experience: Applicants should possess sufficient professional experience in the real estate and land use industry.
- Active Participation: Emerging Leaders should be active members of the ULI District Council Network.
- Community Volunteerism: If new to ULI, additional community volunteerism experience will be considered for active participation.
Responsibilities:
While this program provides an incredible chance to network, learn, and grow within the ULI community, selected Emerging Leaders will be responsible for covering their own expenses, which include:
- Meeting Registration: Participants must register for the ULI Spring Meeting in New York.
- Travel and Transportation: Attendees are responsible for their own travel and transportation expenses to and from the Meeting.
- Product Council Fees: Any additional fees associated with Product Council events, such as dinners, will be the responsibility of the selected Emerging Leaders.
- Attend Pre-meeting Events: All accepted attendees must attend the “Product Council Guest Meeting” hosted by ULI Director, Andrea Schell. They are also responsible for attending the Spring Meeting “Meet & Greet” session at the convention center before Product Council Day.

Matthew Boker
Olson Kundig Architects
Matt Boker has over 8 years of experience in mixed-use and residential design. Recently relocated to Seattle, Washington, Matt is currently an Architectural Designer at Olson Kundig Architects. Prior to Olson Kundig, Matt trained in New York City for 10 years in varying typologies, including luxury condos and master plans in New York, mixed-use developments in Washington D.C., commercial projects in Argentina, and a museum proposal in Israel with ODA New York. Prior to ODA he worked for Woods Bagot designing large mixed-use tower projects in New York , Sydney and Beijing. Matt Boker earned his Master of Architecture at Pratt Institute after achieving a B.S. at the University of Idaho and student teaching its architecture program in Rome. He is LEED AP BD+C certified, is an active member of ULI, and is on ULI America's YLG Steering Committee.
Andrea Schell
Director, Product Council Programs, Urban Land Institute
Experienced Program Manager with a demonstrated history of working alongside the real estate industry. Skilled in Nonprofit Organizations, Management, Leadership, and Customer service, client relations. Strong program and project management professional.
